A steel rifled barrel (10 groves) contributes high velocity (520 feet per second). You will be able to make from 40 to 50 high power shots before the pressure drops and 10 more medium power shots and after that you will have to change the cartridge.
You may use a scope or laser sight in order to shoot more accurately, the pistol has 11mm dovetail rail for accessories mounting. Crosman 2300T has a smooth trigger, it is well-balanced, very easy to load and shoot.
