The TSD RPK has all the features one can expect of a high end airsoft gun. The RPK features a receiver and barrel assembly constructed completely from metal. It also includes a wooden stock, pistol grip, and handguard. Now if this were not enough the internals have been decked out as well. The RPK has a Reinforced Metal Gearbox that includes steel gears, steel bushings, and a ported piston. The internals also feature a powerful super torque up motor and metal hop-up unit. To make the RPK complete as a support weapon TSD has included a folding metal bipod and a 3000 round electric drum magazine made by SRC. TSD airsoft guns are compatible with Tokyo Marui aftermarket parts and magazines. with all these features and accessories the TSD RPK comes at a price that is hard to beat.

The RPK (Ruchnoy pulemyot Kalashnikova) is the light machine gun that replaced the RPD in the role as squad automatic weapon for Soviet infantry.
The RPK was designed around when the new updated AKM was being made in the early 1970's. It was adopted by the Red Army in 1974 and is still used. An average of 1 person per squad (10 men) will obtain one in the Russian Army. It was also used in the Soviet war in Afghanistan from 1979-1989.
